About me

I was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. I knew that I wanted to go into engineering since I was a little kid and would do woodworking with my grandfather. The University of Waterloo's Mechatronics Engineering program was my top pick for undergrad because I have a strong inclination to do mechanical work, but I am adept at electrical work. Before starting university, I founded a woodworking company with my peer. I am a self-starter, and if I am interested in the work I am doing, I will not stop until I am satisfied with the results.

Currently, this is true regarding my design team. I started the Baja SAE design team at the University of Waterloo and am now the captain. This team had previously been run at the university but was disbanded before I started at the school. In just two weeks, I was able to get my team affiliated with Waterloo and accumulate over 100 members. When I'm not studying, I am doing work for Baja or teaching new members.

Experience

Previous co-op placements and other work experience.

Tesla

I am involved in the design and engineering of customer-facing systems, both interior and exterior. I turn subjective perception into objective engineering targets by quantifying the look, sound, and feel of a system and thoughtfully identifying sensory inputs that will deliver a “wow” experience.

UW Baja SAE

Successfully restarted an inactive team and was elected team captain. I am now actively overseeing the powertrain, electrical, chassis and ergonomics, vehicle dynamics, and operations sub-teams. I also instruct new members to use SolidWorks for modelling and ANSYS for structural analysis.

Rani Therapeutics

I designed, prototyped, and implemented an automated process fixture to measure internal forces of therapeutic capsules, log results, and sort them accordingly. I also collaborated in ideation of an automated mold separator to increase efficiency in assembly line.
